The Stack-A-Pots: Hanging Planter was designed to meet the needs of the home gardener and hobbyists who run a busy lifestyle. They were also designed to suit the more sun loving and or moisture demanding plants that everyone loves from flowering annuals, perennials, herbs, bulbs, african violets, strawberries, ferns, ornamental grasses and mosses etc. The Stack-A-Pots: Hanging Planter was designed not to encourage root rot in plants and work efficiently in conjunction with the soils own capillary action.

Every layer of the Hanging Planter has its own water well and water well divider to prevent soil entering the reservoir. The water well divider incorporates three evenly placed and strategically positioned seepage chambers extending down into the water well. Moisture is transported through the seepage chamber into a small amount of submerged growing medium and gradually drawn up into the growing area by the soils own capillary action.

This method of self-watering may allow the user to go on that business trip or holidays without relying on a neighbor or friend. The Stack-A-Pots: Hanging Planter will supply moisture to your plants for an extended period and look fabulous while doing so. The Stack-A-Pots: Hanging Planter can also make a perfect seed raising bed. Simply fill each layer with seed raising medium, plant your seeds and draw a white kitchen tidy bag down over the whole stand and you have your own miniature hothouse.
