About The Inventor

John Keats was born in Brisbane Australia and for most of his life he was a professional artist and avid gardener with a passion to collect rare and unusual ferns.

In 1990 his love of home gardening and art merged when he saw in his minds eye a new concept of a product an arrangement of stacking pots that would display his plants in a massed and unique formation.

As a hobby he set about drafting designs and tinkering with many prototypes of primitive stacking pots he molded from fiberglass and vacuum formed plastic sheeting.

In 1996 he designed a prototype the fore runner of what we know today as Stack-A-Pots™, and in 1997 completed a design very similar to the Stack-A-Tubs®, albeit smaller in size.

He developed the 'Hanging Planter' in 2002 and has launched the 'Stack-A-Tubs®' with a new irrigation system that drew much interest from the hydroponics community.
