About

With Stack-A-Pots "Stak ’n Gro" you can grow herbs in abundance, boutique begetables, strawberries, bulbs, annuals, perennials, ferns, bromeliads, sprouts, mushrooms and even your favourite ornamental. With every growing area spanning 9 inches or 23 cm across, with three growing areas per layer, every plant has room to reach its maximum potential. Every layer holds 10 litres or 8 quarts of soil or potting mixture.

With the new patented Stack-A-Pots Stak ’n Gro internal irrigation system you can be certain every plant will evenly receive their life sustaining nutrients and moisture by one single application to the uppermost layer per watering session. In addition Stack-A-Pots Stak ’n Gro is an efficient self-watering planter with each layer housing its own life support system in the form of exclusive moisture retaining gelmats that are engineered to store up to 800 mls or 30 fl. oz of water and soluble nutrients.

This water storing feature allows for an extended period of time between watering sessions and will vary depending on location, temperature, wind and plant type, but may extend as long as two weeks.

Handy Hints

The drip tray of Stack-A-Pots: Stak ’n Gro has been designed with rib like glides on the under surface to enable easy rotation of the whole stand and ensure your plants receive an even light source over a period of time. We advise you adjust your Stak ’n Gro 45° clockwise every watering session by turning the uppermost layer like a wheel.

You may also sit your Stak ’n Gro on a strong plant pot wheelie caddy, while not included with the set, they can be purchased from most garden supply stores and will enable you to easily move and rotate your Stak ’n Gro.

Growing Tips

Always use a good quality potting mix, cover soil with ornamental rocks, stones or mulch to achieve excellent moisture retention. A light application of worm castings or manure will assist the growth of herbs and vegetables greatly. We also recommend the use of suitable liquid fertilizer for the very first watering and then again every 3 or 4 weeks.
